1 c. brown jasmine rice, rinsed
1 3/4 c. water
pinch salt
Combine rice, water and pinch of salt. Bring to boil over high heat. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Remove from heat.
Let stand for a few minutes. Fluff and serve.
Makes 3 cups cooked.
A rice cooker may be used with the same water-to-rice ratio.
